In this chapter, I’ll guide you through installing the essential tools you’ll need for the course: Readwise, Excalidraw, and Obsidian. You’ll set up the Demo Vault that I’ve provided for the workshop, and if you don’t have one already, we’ll create an empty Obsidian Vault together. While the workflows we explore can be adapted to other tools, this course will gradually introduce you to the key features of Excalidraw, Obsidian, and Readwise, along with other valuable resources to enhance your visual thinking journey.
